Will I have to take exams?

Yes, the possibility of quizzes and exams exists for any given course, but will vary depending on the individual instructor. Most courses do not require testing of any kind, and your grade will be based on assignments that are evaluated by The University of Scranton faculty. These assignments may be in the form of papers, case studies, business plans and other similar assignments. The evaluation process will be conducted in the same media formats in which the course is presented. If a course does require quizzes or examinations, they may be given online or may need to be proctored, which is decided at the discretion of the individual professor. Individuals pursuing a master’s degree must pass a comprehensive final examination to meet the graduation requirements. The comprehensive exam will address all aspects of the program curriculum and will include, at minimum, a question related to educational research.
